As “a farmer’s daughter,” I know the importance of hard work, treating others with respect, and being compassionate. The values that were instilled in me as a part of my upbringing have molded not only who I am, but also how I interact within the world.
For 10 years I have been an intricate part of the real estate industry. I entered the industry assisting another agent by using my past profession and knowledge of photography to beautifully photograph the properties being listed. That grew to encompass administrative duties as well as eventually assistant management duties. It wasn’t long thereafter that I realized that the next step for me was to become a licensed real estate agent.
Fast forward to the present, and I’m proud to say that I have my Real Estate Broker License! In addition, I have been a top producing real estate agent since 2016; multiple times being the number one agent in my company.
I am both honored and blessed to be a real estate agent who is endorsed by financial guru Dave Ramsey! My husband has been in the financial industry for 25 years, the majority of it spent as a financial adviser. Throughout that time, we have been inspired by Dave’s teachings as we continue along our path of financial responsibility. Anytime we are able to assist others to continue on their path of financial responsibility, we are honored to take a part in it!
When I am not doing real estate (rarely, as it is my passion,) I can be found spending time with my husband, four (adult and teenage) daughters and my “babies”…Shyla and Zeke; my dogs.

Katie has brought her skills, experience and education to the team since July 2019. She has experience in marketing, digital media, communication and what really needs to happen behind the scenes to make a business run smoothly. From small to large projects she believes that each task is deserving of attention to detail. On her off time she enjoys being with her family of 6 and her two dogs. She has adopted 3 children with special needs and had a biological child born 3 months early last year, because of this disabilities and special needs are close to her heart.
Olivia has served in an administrative position with Michelle since Nov. 2016. She has enjoyed helping Michelle maintain her customer contact and working on various marketing materials to help highlight our listed properties as well as assist with buyer needs. In 2020, Olivia moved to Minneapolis to attend the School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota. Due to some wonderful technology she is still able to continue in some of her administrative duties. Olivia enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jenna began her position as an administrative assistant with Michelle in July. 2020. Her main objectives are helping Michelle maintain her customer contact and grow her online presence. Jenna has also enjoyed working on various marketing materials, but passionately looks forward implementing some of her online abilities to see Michelle’s marketing grow in new and unique ways. Jenna is a freshman at Mankato East High School, and specifically takes interest in her English and History courses. Jenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and partaking in sports such as soccer, and curling--which she does every Wednesday with her family.
